I have a 2008 328i and I'm getting code 6050 - RDC transmitter front right. I replaced the original transmitter that was just hanging behind the front right wheel well cover as the both the connector and transmitter were full of green crusty and one pin had corroded off. I spliced in a connector I got at the junk yard and bought a used transmitter off ebay. I'm still getting the error and I cannot reset using ProTool as it is not recognizing the front right. I realize I might have a bad transmitter so ordered a new one. My question is where does the front right transmitter mount?

I know the front left is mounted directly on the front right wheel well liner but the right wheel well liner does not have the mounting holes on the liner as the front left and realoem shows the front transmitters using both rivets (left i assume) and a screw and screw retaining clip (front right I assume). Does anyone know or have a picture of where the front right transmitter mounts?

I don't have picture, but I did encounter the right TPMS transmitter when I pulled the front half of the wheel well liner off to get better working space during my "COVID lock down" preemptive strike on my 2009 328i's water pump/thermostat (better than letting it crap out on a Sunday 150miles from home)! It's in front of the front edge of the liner....Didn't get the connector seated tight on assembly and had to pull the liner off again and unplug/plug the connector to get TPMS working, so I got two visits to the transmitter.:(

See attached ISTA ScreenPrints showing location of Transmitter (Fender Liner Removed), Wiring, and X18041 Connector View. The Lines ID describes function of the 3 wires: Supply (VL+), Ground (VL-), and Signal via LIN BUS. If you want Test Suggestions (with Multimeter), please advise.

BTW, if you want to see a CORRECT Title or Description of what the ScreenPrint actually shows, just Right-click the thumbnail and select "Open Link in New Tab". That new tab will now have the Title I gave to the ScreenPrint jpg file and NOT some "computer-rendered mumbo-jumbo" about jaw/ rectangle/ line/ parallel, etc.
