What series is a X5 2013? Which should I use for coding?

 

MY 2013 is an E70.

In MY 2014 it became an F15.

For E70, you need a DCAN cable, EDIABAS, NCS Expert, and SP-Daten to code it.

I have a BMW f10 535i 2011. Production date 2/2011.

I am using e-sys 3.25.3 and psdzdata 50.3
I have coded most of the features from the cheat sheet that I wanted without issue.

However I cannot seem to read CAS-> CAFD_0000000F_005_025_037
I keep getting error that its not found.

Does someone have any ideas?

Hi everyone, I have coded my friend's BMW x5 F15 2015. I coded DVD in drive, key fob trunk, interior also, coded folding mirrors, open/close window mirrors, coded Bluetooth media.........none of these worked, except for interior trunk open and close. I went back and checked my work and everything was to the cheat sheet specs and I'm puzzled. Any ideas?

Is there an option to code F10/11, year 2011, to be able to play videos (divx, etc…) via USB port (and various media)?

I try to code it ... but cant find the option in the HU_CIC:
API_USB_VIDEO => both
ENT_CODEC_XVID => aktiv
ENT_CODEC_VCD => aktiv

So is it possible or not?

Also I tired to make sport display (torque an power). They showed up, but it does not show anything .. no pointers moving
HU_NBT => 3000 => EFF_DYN_SPORT_CID => aktiv
HU_NBT => 3000 => EFF_DYN_SPORT_UNIT => aktiv

USB Video only works with newer NBT Head Unit.

Sport Displays do not work for all F10's.

Last week dealer has updated my car (F30 320xd, sept2014) and so my current i-step is F20-15-03-502. I've tried to do FDL coding using E-SYS 3.26.1 and psdz-data 2.54.1.
At first I get this error:

FEM_BODY [40] [PS96774]
readCPS o.k.
CAFD_00000794_012_037_005 Fehler:
File for "cafd_00000794-012_037_005" not found! [C012]

Usually it can be solved by Detecting CAFD for SWE, but when I try to do it, I have another error:

FEM Failed to get CAFs for SWE "swfl_0000155e-012_200_030". [C111]
KIS error: Die technische Einheit 0000155E konnte in der KIS-Wissensbasis nicht gefunden werden. [1283]

I have the same errors on every module except KOMBI.
What does it mean?
Can I solve it using VO coding?
Need help please!

 

If dealer updated your car to 55.x, and you use 54.1 PSdZData, how is Detect CAF for SWE going to find compatible CAFD files for these ECU's with newer firmware files? It can't. You need to update to 55.x PSdZData.

You no longer need 2.54, so you can delete the entire thing.

Missing CAFD Files and Trimmed Files

Hi. I'm new to this but learning fast.

The main reason for exploring the coding options is to turn of the Auto Stop/Start on my F10 5 Series. The car is brand new, April 2015.

I'm using E-Sys 3.26.1 and psdzdata 55.0 (can't find 55.1 or later).
I've installed everything and am able to make the connection work, no problem.
However, I'm getting the following errors:

Hi Shawn, I coded my 2011 F10 two years ago and had turned on all the cool features with the help of you and this site. At the last oil change at the dealer, I guess they updated the software and I lost my coding. Today, I used the same laptop, cable and software but ran into errors on Clicking SVT "Read VCM". Did something change since then as far as the E-Sys software? Do i need to download newer E-Sys?

Hi Shawn! I have another one problem. I try to code cruise control. I set up buttons, add 544 to salapa and code kombi, icm and FEM. After it cruise start working but an error appears: "problem with drive, go to service carefully" and it becomes difficult to accelerate. This is my friend's car, 328 which made from 320. What should I do? Maybe I have to delete 544, code ecus again and cruise cannot work on this car?

I have changed everything back, but it doesn't solve the problem. This car was made 328 from 320, so maybe during coding I broke smth, so now turbine doesnt work at all. My friend will go to master, who installed him 328.

Been looking all around and can't seem to find the answer..... Is there a code for changing the triple (turn signal) blink to something longer? Like 4, 5 or 6?
