Many many thanks to you, today was my first coding session, and as per your guidance, I was successful in coding following:

1. Close windows, sunroof & mirror from key fob. (Tested OK)
2. Change Triple-Blink Count to blink 5 times. (Tested OK)
3. Enable Illumination of Exterior Door Handle LEDs when in Reverse. (Tested OK)
4. Set cell phone ringer as primary. (Tested OK)
5. Enable Video Files from USB (Need to know the supported formats to play one).
6. Add GPS Current Location to Navi Menu Items. (Not sure where to see for it).
7. Air Re-Circulating (But actually wanted to set to Manual Re-circulation, probably settings should be changed 3003***61664;MEMORY_UMLUFT -> nicht_aktiv ?)
8. Add Digital Speed to LCD Display via BC button.(Tested OK)
9. Turn on Brake Force Flashing with Hard Braking (Yet to test).
10. DVD-in-Motion activated (But don't believe F048 can read DVD so unable to test).
11. Close/Open Rear Hatch from Fob & Kick Panel. (Tested OK)
12. Enable Curb and Grass Detection for Lane Departure Warning System (Not sure what extra feature will this add to the lane departure - yet to test, will it monitor grass instead of white lines? ).
13. Enable Rear-View Camera at all Speeds (Not sure how to use it, as rear camera is shown only on Reverse Gear).

Following was coded but didn't work:
1. Enable Turn Signals in HUD. (HU: 3001***61664;HUD_TURNSIGNAL set to: aktiv)
2. Turn off MMI when door is opened -> BDC : 3020 ***61664; TCM_LOGIC_R_OFF_DOOR = aktiv 01

This function was not found at all:
1. Unlock Doors on Engine OFF -> BDC: 3040 ***61664; VAM_UNLOCK_KL15OFF_AFTER_PIA_AUTO_LOCK = aktiv 01 (Did anyone else found it in F048 ?).


Next: As asked before, curious to learn about the equalizer settings, hence saved the CAFD files into my laptop and need to know if there is any software available to read the CAFD files in offline mode, to do research on the Harmon Kardon Equalizer settings.

You can read both CAFD and .NCD files offline using E-Sys CAF Viewer or FDL Editor accordingly.

You need to add these Options to FA, and then Flash and Encode Head Unit:

8LT COUNTRY-SPECIFIC CONTRIBUTION 04825 ( Country controller Taiwan)
866 LANGUAGE VERSION SIPLIFIED CHINESE
8AS CHINESE TRADITIONAL / ON-BOARD DOCU

Then you can also load Taiwan Map.

Yes, as SALAPA-Elements, but just upating FA by itself doe snothing. You need to then Flash (Program) and Encode (VO Code) the Head Unit so it receives Chinese Firmware version.

 

Coding is reconfiguring the functions within existing ECU firmware. Programming (Flashiing), is replacing ECU firmware with different firmware. It is far more complicated, requires PSdZData Full (not Lite), and car but be on a commercial grade charger good for 50 Amp minimum.

I think in your case you need ISTA/P, but I cannot help with ISTA.

For F25:

E-Sys Launcher Car Series = F025
E-Sys Connection Target = F025

I had my car at the dealer and they did a software update. I needed to re-do my mods and that was no problem.
However, I don't know anymore what to change to disable the screens that pop-up when you change the mode from E.g. comfort - sport etc..
I looked and could not find it, but I know, it worked before.

Does anyone know?

You need to flash and encode CIC and Kombi using FA with:

8A3 LANGUAGE VERSION ARABIC

And if you need to convert Map, you need Middle East PREMIUM Map and FSC Enabling Code for it, and then udpate via USB.
