Hello,
I can't get the launcher to work- it is asking for activation. Tried 2.8.2 and 2.7.1 with the time rollback script- all the same. I'm on a bare metal Win10x64, US version.
Any ideas?

Never mind, apparently it happened because I had Russian as one of the secondary keyboard choices.

1) When trying to save the FA it generates this error, access is denied.

Firewall disabled.

At launcher F30 is selected to 320.

On the F020 connection is not direct.

I tried to open Esys without the launcher. And to save FA the same error appears.

That has to do with user permission to save files. That is not esys config issue.

For F-series programming; I've installed INSTA+ which I understand we use for Diag and Prog but do we need ICOM setup to program fully or can I used ENET Cable with ICOM configured in INSTA? Is that the ICOM "emulator"?? or is the ICOM settings in INST+ just for a true ICOM setup??

A week ago, the car was updated at the dealer.
Current i-level 18-11-523
FDL coding work fine.
What could be causing the error?

 

There is no error. You are checking Specifically for FSC Code AppID 323, which is CarPlay, and your Head Unit does not have this FSC Code.

Requesting Launcher PRO 3.x is useless. It won't work without an Activation Code, same as old E-Sys Launcher 2.x, and the only way to get an Activation Code is to generate one using his WebApp, which requires a Access/Code Login from TokenMaster. Anyone wanting Launcher PRO needs to just email TokenMaster (fxxtokenmaster@gmail.com) and get setup by him. There is nothing anyone else can do for you.

Will this work fo the new 2019 X5? I want to program out the annoying dimming of the iDrive display. The dimming is too excessive even on bright sunny days if you drive into a tunnel or shade etc. BimmerCode doesn***8217;t seem to work for this.

In general, it works for all Fxx-/Ixx-/Gxx-series Coding; however, considering G05 is all new, and it contains new MGU Head Unit, I would expect some CAFD Mapping issues.

If E-Sys Launcher shows Trimmed CAFD (FDL Code) Data, it means either E-Sys has Incorrect Target Connection, or you do not use E-Sys Launcher to open E-Sys, or you use E-Sys Launcher PREMIUM but select wrong car Series or this particular ECU CAFD is not mapped in E-Sys Launcher's CAFD Mapping Database, or you have insufficient Java Memory in order for E-Sys Launcher to map it.

For 1809, you will either have failed error with opening e-sys or not. Since yours is loading, nothing to check.

After you use 64-bit java, make sure to verify it is working by searching "javamem" in E-sys Logs.

Set Launcher Memory setting to "Default".

PRO version has no Car Series restrictions.

Unlikely. Make yourself new Key after SSD Upgrade.

Mega is direct. You can always pay $5 for premium account and download quicker.

 

I have uploded two log files.


At the document with the later tine stamp please delete .pdf extension to read.
The later one has 4GB Ram over launcher pro.

Hi, proud new owner of F80 M3 in the UK. Ive bought a cable and installed software as supplied with it. Running E-sys 3.28.1 powered by tokenmaster premium v2.8.2.155. I can connect and read succesfully, setting FA to active but when I right click and 'read coding data' on the FEM module I get an error.

CAFD_00000794_017_068_102 Fehler:
File for cafd_00000794-017_068_102 not found [C012]

I've researched and found similar threads that suggest a 'detect CAF for SWE' should fix the CAFD error except this is greyed out.

Further research seems to suggest the Pzad? file needs updating and I'm now getting really confused.

My E-SYS seems newer than the PZad files so it seems crazy to change them, should I delete E-sys 3.28.1 and install a lower version? The software was all supplied with my cable, or should I change the Pzad files in 3.28.1 to older ones??

Getting confused and dont want to ruin my new car. I appreciate I am brand new here but I have tried to reasearch things before asking and am just getting more and more confused.

Should I just buy Vcar and Bimmerlink app on iphone??

 

This error means you need updated PSdZData.

Detect CAF for SWE is for when ECU is missing CAFD, not for when it has CAFD that cannot be read. And not that you need it, but your does not work as you have E-Sys 3.28.1, and you should have 3.27.1.

Thanks I think!! Deleted everything and reinstalled esys and token generator. First install I created a pin, this time there was no pin generator and est file is absent. Seems to start up okay but not tried to code yet?

 

PIN only used on first boot. If you see again, you are doing something wrong.

 

I guess we now have to pay for the download or wait hours between downloads...

 

Only if you have downloaded other files off Mega recently. You should be able to pull necessary files without hitting cap.
