1. Software Overview and Requirements:

This guide serves Fxx, Ixx, and Gxx-series vehicles. For E-series, different software and cable are used. Complete Software & Interface Overview.

Prerequisites:
  • Windows 7+ Computer.
  • E-Sys = Main Coding Software
  • PSdZData Lite(~2.5 GB) = ECU Data Files. Works for VO & FDL Coding.
  • Bimmer Utility = Provides License (ie Activation), FDL-Coding mapping, Cheat Codes (Section 7), & other optimization.
  • Connection Interface = ENET Cable (OBDII to RJ45 Ethernet) or ICOM. For computers without an ethernet port, you can use USB-to-ethernet adapters

NOTE: Links never change. The latest versions are usually found below.

Bimmer Utility - Mapping 4.35.42 - Only and recommended solution
  • Auto-updated and supports the latest mapping for the most accurate coding experience
    • Purchase directly from the developer's website.
  • E-sys 3.39.1 - Used with Bimmer Utility or alone for Programming and VO coding.

Latest PSdZData_Lite (~2.5 GB) WORKS FOR ALL FDL CODING & VO CODING
  • Use this guide to determine your I-Step.
  • You only need one lite version for coding that is equal to or greater than your I-Step.
    • NOTE: If you get a "Not Found [C012]" error when "Read Coding Data," it is time to update.
  • Do NOT merge. DELETE old PSdZData folder & REPLACE w/ new PSdZData folder.


By Resource:
  1. NCD / CAFD: Read *.ncd files offline and easily search for a function, viewing current settings as well as other options
  2. NCD Compare: Load *.ncd files using Folder icons or drag & drop and then the far right button initiates compare. Popup showing Left vs right values which you can highlight and copy if you choose. It also highlights *.ncd trees differences in red & you can scroll up and down.
  3. Decrypt CAFD: not just for CFDs. It also works for other Psdzdata files (eg FAFP).
  4. FA / FP: viewer; tool includes mapping (eg 430 Inter Exter mirror anti dazzle). You can search loaded FA or entire FAFP (ie available options). FP viewer allows you to view options by Vehicle Profile (FP) without loading FA (Vehicle Order).
  5. FA Compare: like #2, but comparing fas.
  6. FA-CAFD: You load individual ECUs *.ncd and can see how FA additions will affect (ie "what-if).
  7. SVT-CAFD: You load the entire saved SVT file and see how FA changes will affect (ie "what-if).

    • External Transmitter (to clear DTC) & Coding-Verification do not work

HI! How are you everybody? Some can tell me if this work on windows 11, I install it and when I run the program don’t see any option, you thing I doing something wrong or just don’t work with windows 11, thanks for response, blessings.

sorry if this question has been asked/ answered before but can't read each post one by one.
Still confused in what situation I need a launcher?
I saw some people can do coding directly without launcher?

I just installed e-sys 3.40 with v.4.35.30_PSdZData_Lite and got a ENET cable
I want to code my G20 with 2022/03 software with Auto Lane Change and maybe speed limit info.

Thank you all masters in advanced.

Hello @Almaretto looks like I'm late to the game here! I have a 2018 G30 530e and just bought a 6WB cluster to upgrade from my 6WA. I tried emailing Token Master for Launcher Pro 3x and haven't had a response. I've downloaded e-sys 3.27 and 3.31 and latest Psdzdata so I take it that all I need is the launcher. Do you have any links to a launcher that will work or do we now need to use Bimmer Utility? I was hoping to use Launcher Pro 2.82 but I see it's no longer valid. Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

I'd be grateful for some help here. I wanted to restore the BDC_BODY3 ECU in my F40 M135i to the factory settings. Using E-Sys 3.38.2, I coded the ECU, which has 7 CAFD files. This failed with numerous errors and I now see 7 files all named CAFD_FFFFFFFF_255_255_255. Trying to replace or delete them gets me nowhere. Using the "Detect CAF for SWE" route and selecting all 7 displayed files just added these to the existing list. I am unable to read coding data for any of these now 14 files.

I own a 09 BMW 750i F01 with a n63 engine.I have purchased Esystem and it's working in VMware But the ISTA + in VMware gives warnings of Corrupt VMX file and will not start.I have Win 10 pro on my Laptop with 8gb of ram & has 5i Vpro 4 Core processor .
I think that corrupt VMX message stems from two of the 30 7zip files I originally downloaded are missing. Please help me to get my ISTA / Rhiengold program to open in VMware .Best regards, Daniel
