When my car arrives I will probably be out of town :(. I want to get my side and rear windows tinted and the dealer has offered to have it done while they are prepping it. The advantage is that I won't have to take it back to dealer or window shop for a day. The disadvantages are that it will have to be driven to the shop, and I just love getting to see the odo at 2-4 miles, and I will not have the chance to inspect the car prior to committing to the expense.
Thoughts?

I usually have my own detailer prep the car at the dealer. But the tint guy is not mobile.

I would just get it tinted then prepped then delivered in your situation. You can have them photograph the odometer. It won't change how the car drives.
