ConnectedDrive on Import?

New member. Have just imported a 2013 F06 from the UK to Ireland. Does anyone have experience of getting ConnectedDrive working on an imported car please? Worked in UK (eg traffic updates) but get message saying no mobile network facility - presumably because the SIM in the car is effectively now roaming? Should I be able to get an Irish-compatible SIM and resolve the issue, or is it more complex? Have asked local dealer to confirm. Grateful for any advice/tips. Thanks, Matt
