Hi,

A year and a half ago i got a new battery for my e87 one series from BWM. But i ended up leaving my car for 12 months and not running it whilst working away andmy battery has died.

What is the best way to charge this battery? can it simply be removed, taken somewhere, charged and put back on?

Im guessing as it is a new battery it should not be an issue.

Cheers,

Stef

A battery that has been dead for a year may be damaged by sulfation. Quality battery CHARGERS attempt to mitigate sulfation.

I am not familiar with your model BMW. Mine has charging access points under the hood that also update the charging system of the charge. Your owners manual likely addresses the issue.
