console ?

Ok...I accidentally split a tiny bit of my drink on my wood trim, I thought I got it all up. Just a few drops.. but now I realize some went around my passenger window switch . I thought if I took the trim off I could clean this up?? does anyone know how to remove this piece, or do they know if I remove the piece can I get the sticky off my switch??? thank for the help... it drives me nuts

But this is exactly the reason I removed cupholders :)

But you see I am really anal about everything, dirt, food...this was not "normal" for me...it just ..like..happened :( lol :yikes:

Yes it's possible. Unclip the shift boot, there are 2 screws near the bottom of the bezel. Unlip the wiring harnesses and out she comes. You can unclip the switches from the bottom if need be,
please advise me as to where to unclip if you don't mind... I've never taken this off before... and why is this post moved, I have a 3 series and a 3 series question :thumbdwn:

Oh, also, don't worry too much about it the spill, I've spilled coffee on my window switches and they work fine nd I never took apart the console to fully clean it out.

it wasn't a lot of coffee but it was enough to make the switches a little sticky which I cleaned with water.
