Coolant Leak and over heating

Today i was driving my BMW and the message "coolant temperature" came up so i pulled over and had no coolant i went ahead and bought some and filled it back up. About two hours later, everything had drained out and it was empty again. What could be causing this and how much will it cost to replace?

Is it spilling on the floor?

Yes it did. There was a huge leak towards the rear of the engine.

It's most likely the water pump, when mine went bad I put water in looked under the car and it looked like my car was peeing

I bought the pump on eBay for like 140 and the mechanic charged me $80 in labor. Or you could buy at the dealer for $380 I think it was.
