I would think that there'd be more wear when you have the clutch pedal pushed in, like when you're sitting at a stoplight. Took 4 post to get to the RIGHT answer...Not bad.in_d_haus said:The only problem should be if you have it set up too high so that the clutch is still in contact with the pressure plate (slipping) this would accelerate wear. If the bimmer clutch is self adjusting as reported then this should remedy itself unless it's grossly out and cant be compensated by the self adjuster.
