I just got off the telephone with Federico (Pavoncelli). It looks like he'll be bringing a whole bunch of Racing Dynamics tuned Bimmers this year, and he'll actually be attending the event himself...

I will have a bunch more BimmerFest info to share as the week progresses.

I was hoping to get my hands on some Alpina wine to celebrate at the Fest...

but they can't be acquired easily...

Vince, did you know that Bovensiepen gives a bottle or two of Alpina wines if you buy a new car ?

I'm looking forward to it

BTW, he has about 1.5 million bottles in his cellar. (insider info)

sigh...

Someone one this board actually contacted me with leads importing the wine from Alpina. I was hoping that I can grab a bottle and share with the fellow BIMMER heads. But turns out that Alpina wine is very short-lived and that there is no way of importing the wine at all due to its rarity too...

Yep, last I heard, Bovensiepen is spending more time on his cellar than building Alpina cars...
