Hi!

I have a audio-wire prob i can't solve... looked for the solution on a couple of boards..asked info @ the dealer..but no success..
maybe one of u geniuses can solve it.

I ordered my BMW with a preparation for a cd changer.
I got 2 plugs in trunc (indeed, a 3 pin connector & a 6 pin connector with only 4 wires)...

The 3pin connector gives me 12V so i gues it's the power...
The 6 pin connector are the Audio-in cables.

But how can i get the headunit to see the cd-changer?
is it a special wire? setting? or do i have to do something with the 3pin connector?

Any help is welcome.!

another day passed without having the pleasure of fixing the install...daimed.

Because i wasn't sure i connected everything correct, i """borrowed""" my bosses bmw cd-changer..
I connected it to the wires.. En tried the headunit...without success.

Is there someone that know how to get the OEM headunit to recognize the changer ? Because i'm not planning to blow up the radio or burn some fuses.

I was hoping to get a BMWPILE or something like that..but it doesn't seem to excist in europe :-(( If i could someone to import a BMWPILA, will it work without a cd-changer?

Tnx!
