I like the idea of 8 runs in a day. Anyone else want to do it? I'm going to be busy tomorrow night, so I don't know if I'll be able to register thoughAutocrossers:
Hot off the press, at http://www.autocrossersinc.org/MirrorX.html, are the
details about the upcoming "MirrorX" autocross, hosted by Autocrossers, Inc.
(AI), to be held November 10 at Six Flags America. Pre-registration will
open this coming Friday, November 1, at 8:00pm. On-line pre-registration
will be available via the ALTD and PreAX web sites, or go directly to the

What's unique about this event is the fact that it will be conducted
similar to a SCCA Pro Solo event. There will be a maximum of 96 cars. The
course layout will actually be two courses, each a mirror image of the other
(hence the name, "MirrorX") and each car will get 4 runs on each course for
a total of 8 runs. When you pre-register, you will not choose a number;
only a class. Cars will then be grouped by class and assigned to specific
run groups on the day of the event. A wait list will go into effect once
all the positions are taken. More details about the event are outlined on
the information page at http://www.autocrossersinc.org/MirrorX.html.
