I'm looking for a dead E36 DME (0 261 200 402) that I can scrounge some 30014 transistors from. A coil pack died and took out a driver in the DME. I have had no luck finding a new 30014 or a substitute, so now I'm hoping to salvage one from somebody's dead box.

I've had a little experience with this kind of operation before

Fixed!

I found some transistors and replaced the bad one. Runs like a champ now! I have a few extra transistors so if anyone else experiences the coil-pack-kills-DME syndrom give me a shout, I may be able to help out.

Best,

hello. I have the exact same problem on my 1993 325is. The last transisitor is burnt in my DME. Please tell me where to find the transistors and any other info you have that can get my baby back on the road. You can email it to me at [email protected]. Thank you.
