I talked to my dealer here in Denver about doing ED on my 135i that was just allocated to me this month. I was originally going to purchase it stateside but thought ED would be a lot of fun so I asked them to petition BMW for the 12th of September for ED. They said they usually get a response back from BMW regarding the date in a day or two....well it has been a week and a half and not a word, they have emailed them a couple of times and nothing...is that normal?

They also told me the 135i's in comparison to other ED BMW's have to come out of dealer allocation? Is that true?

Any info appreciated.:)

It can take a while to get your confirmed date. Just give it some time. If you don't hear anything in another week or so I'd call BMW, not the dealership.

Yes, it's true that the 135i does come out of dealer allocation.

Alright, another Denver 135 owner! You are absolutely right, ED is a lot of fun. I highly recommend it. The only hard part is waiting for you car to be shipped over.
