Delivery Day!
Took delivery of my second E46 today at 8:00 AM EST. The whole process took about 45 minutes and was extremely pleasant. This is my second purchase from Hunterdon BMW (west/central NJ) and it's as pleasant as buying a Saturn (first hand experience there 
).
I traded a '00 328Ci (August '99 production) w/ 45k miles so I have experience with an early E46 couple. My impressions on the steering after 'only' 85 miles is that the '00 steering is heavier than the '02 but that the '02 is quicker at 2.8 turns vs. 3.2 for my '00. None of these miles are highway yet (only the twisties) so I can't report on the feel in that situation yet.
The car is awesome so far - nice little 'upgrades' since the early '00 models. Climate control stays off if it was off the last time the car was driven. Memory mirrors and the 'angle down' passenger mirror on reverse is a nice touch as is the clock display on the radio - none of that was on the '00 328Ci.

really? i have a 2000 328i, and it has both of those features. they musta started doing it mid-year or something.Yipper said:

Thanks Plaz, after 1 day I'm up to 185 miles - I do lots of driving for work (~18k+/year) so it won't take long.Plaz 330i said:
