Hi,
I have a 320i E91 from 2009, engine N43.
One month ago the yellow engine control light has started to pop up occasionally. It appears usually after 1 or 2 min of driving with a cold engine. With warm engine it never shows up.

I got the cable so here is the INPA error output:

From what I read on forums, I would suspect the VANOS, so I am planning to dismount and clean them, but first I would appreciate your opinion

Hope to hear from you!

Kasi, I'm curious what the "cable" and diagnostic software is that you are using here. I have a P2272 OBDII code that I need to get more info for.

Where did you obtain the cable and diagnostic software and what was the price?

I bought the cable from www.bcables.com. The software is INPA.
It is 38.99GBP.
Good luck with your error, I never found out what were my errors. Eventually I brought the car to bmw where they fixed something related to synchronization.
