Different Tires on Front and Rear Axle
Hi,
I have a question.
I drive a 335xi 2008.
My Bridgestone RFT tires are done.
I can get a great deal on two Continental Contact Sport 2 tires for the front, and two yokohama s drive on the rear. Both are summer tires are both are the stock size.
They are used but have 8/32 left.
My question is : Is there any problem in installing different makes on back vs front?

There shouldnt be a problem.....but it will probably look dumb.
Not a good idea as the different tread patterns can cause unpredictable handling - especially under emergency conditions.

Summer tires in Montreal ... how long is summer ..... 6 weeks?
+1. BMW engineers spend a lot of time making the handling neutral and predictable. Mis-matched tires can undo all of this effort.
