Personally I'd never wait 100k to change the spark plugs, no matter what any book or warranty descriptor said! You're better off spending the $40 every 20-30k miles and saving that cash in gas!

Discrepancy in 2001 Service Manual?...
I have a 2001 325CiC. The service manual says that spark plugs get changed at 100K miles. Then, under Inspection II, it says to change the spark plugs...which is probably at about 60K miles.
Which is right? I called BMWNA. They had no idea.
