I've had my OEM alum pedals for over a year with minimal wear. I just cleaned them last week and they still look perfect.

It could be that I also don't the dead center of the pedals (right edge of the brake, left edge of the accelerator) most of the time.

Mebbe those with clutch pedals can chime in on wear as that would probably be the most used/abused one.

i read a review about some of the rubber wearing off relatively quickly... anyone have any experience with the bmw or other brand alum pedal sets?
I dunno...It's been 2 years since I installed mine and they're showing little next to no wear.

oem bmw, acs, uuc? any brand have anything over the others in terms of quality, looks?
I have OEM...Would probably go with UUC now because a) I get a good discount from them and b) They look REALLY nice...If you are even thinking of getting them, let me know. The UUC ones look almost exactly like the ACS pedals, and they've put out nothing but quality products.

discount? how much?

any discount you can get me, i'll kick back part of it to you. the pedals are listed at 100 for the set on uuc's site for the alum. oh man, the carbon fiber ones look nice too... keep the interior looking relatively stock with those... hmm... dan email me and let me know what kind of discount we are talking about... hmm. i guess now i have to go look dead pedals that look good with the uuc.. does anyone have pics of the m3 dead pedal? the complete oem set (including dead pedal) will be 115 plus shipping from circle.... but i dont like the rubber on them too much... any dead pedal suggestions?

Sorry,

OEM BMW.

Probably not much difference quality as far as I can tell. The OEM BMW are fairly thin at about 1/4" thick (as I recall). They have the brushed alum finish on them so they're not as shiny as some others I've seen.

Also since the alum pedals are attached directly to the metal pedals (plastic for the accelerator), I don't think thickness/bending will be an issue if that's what you're worried about.

I say get what looks good to you.:thumb:
