Hi All,

I have 2006 530i and it says it includes BMW Assist with bluetooth system. But when I go to "i" menu for activating bluetooth as asked in manual, I don't see "bluetooth" option. So I am confused if this is a default thing in 530's or is it some kind of "pre-wired" and BMW wants more money to put something in.

I am trying to activate bluetooth to use it with my phone (Blackberry Curve-8300).

Thanks.
Abe

I'm pretty sure all US E60 cars have BT starting in MY05 (mine did), so I would be surprised if yours didn't.

First you need to activate BT (I believe in the communication section), then you pair the phone. Did you activate BT first?

I tried to but in communication there is nothing for "bluetooth" when I went to phone, it asked me first activate bluetooth from "i" menu under communication setting and again there is no "bluetooth" option there.
