I have a 2000 323i....I would like to buy a fault code reader to diagnose a "check engine light" problem....any ideas?

They make several models of scan tools. Just be aware thar this device *may not* give a definitive diagnosis, as there are reputedly over 200 things that will trigger the SES light, and sometimes even the dealer can`t figure it out....
