I have LD electronics in my 328i and was following this thread: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=901534

Everything worked just as described. :thumbup:

However when I got to the last bit of mounting the retainer plate to the glove box, I am not sure how to screw in the screws. Please see attached picture, there is not enough space to fit a small screwdriver/drill bit.

Is there such a thing as an angled screw head holder which I can mount onto a drill and screw these screws in so that they are flush? :dunno:
I only have about 2.5 inches in height to work with, see second pic.

I could use some help from the OP of the above thread - " azwillnj " and thanks for your help.

Now I have a glove box as well as LD electronics. :angel:

Some socket wrenches have adapters for screwdriver bits--I think that's what you need here.

I'm not sure which head those screws have. But Home Depot sells small ratcheting wrenches much like this from Chapman that fit a variety of heads.

Update-

Found a 23 piece socket set at Walmart that did the trick!! I used a star screw with a hex ending inserted into the socket attachment.
I was able to screw the two glove box screws with no difficulty.

Happy that now I have a Drivers side glove box and LD electronics.

Now how do I fit that spare tire in the glove box ***128540;

For those who had the glove box (came with the car) what do you use it for ? I will primarily use it for my RayBans and radar detector.

The cover can be removed from the glove box and can be screwed without any special tools.
