I know what you mean, the hook that stops the door from opening further at the hinge. Wonder how it broke?

seems like that piece brakes often. it's made of high modulus plastic.

Does anyone else find the design and feel of the door opening "notches" really crappy? I have only had my wagon for 6 weeks, but when I open the driver's door to get out, the resistance to get the door open past the first "notch" (or the second) seems high, but once I get past that, the holding force to keep the door open in that position while I get out is minimal - the door just drifts closed while I'm halfway out. Seems like the camming action is backwards. Just me?
