This is a sad story. Since BMW is not taking part in the series, the bookmark of this page is lost somewhere in my favorites.

AlexB, since BMW pulled out, DTM is nothing but crap. Sorry to say that. I really tried to watch some of the races in the last season. Nothing but Opel, MB and Audi and Opel and MB and Audi....

I even bought a DTM 2000 AMG CLK GTR model!! Now I am desparately trying to sell it...

I'm completely agree with you. Since the series doesn't attract enough people (so says BMW AG) they have no intention to build up a racing department. They are now fully concentrated on the F1.

Well since ALMS isn't playing nice they should get back into to...and get a US TV contract
