E36 to 46 key variations

I was just wondering what differences in keys there were between 98' - 00' 3 series'. Do they all have lock, unlock features built-in?

If anyone has pics of their keys I wouldn't mind seeing them. This is just for interests sake... Im shopping for a 3 series right now ;).

okay well Ive done some researching and Ive found that these keys
began with the E46 in mid 2000. Im still unsure what the E36 keys look like...
