I recently replaced the brake booster on my 1998 528i, I had requested to install a used unit. The unit was installed and my brakes work just fine but now I have the ASC light on, on the dashboard.


Could it be that the installed Booster is for cars equipped with DSC, and my car has ASC, or would it work on both models regardless?

I checked the listing and for 9/97 on there is only one part listed . There doesn't appear to be anything electrical on the booster they generally don'thave anything like that . I would check and see if something didn't get plugged back in or has just come loose.
