I just bought a CD player and radio module. My old radio had DSP but not BC. My new one has bc but not DSP. Will this work and what am I losing with out DSP?

Did you put it in the car?
With dsp you have subwoofers and amplifier in the trunk, if you can hook it up you will probably be fine, you just wont have the preset dsp sound choices, Concert Hall etc..

I find it a bit strange why you did not buy a DSP unit like you had....

It won't work. You need a DSP head unit to power the DSP amplifier.

All other functions will work (technically), but you wont be able to access your DSP menu.
