Hi all

Was a dealer and mechanic showed me a 630i which uses the same R6 3.0L engine as E90

Im shure you all know by now it has a electric waterpump

Well the pump doesnt pump during first while after start up to make engine warm up faster

and

It keeps pumping after you stop and lock the car if the engine is very hot to cool it down faster

Nothing really new; my 5000CD Quattro had this in 1986. It was an auxiliary pump IIRC.
