24 month/15K MF is 0.0020 and residual is 69%.

36 month/15K MF is 0.0020 and residual is 58%.

I'm really surprised by the low MF...

Sedan should have lower MF and higher residual I would think...so good news!

you heard this from your client advisor? i dont see a thread on Ask A Dealer (maybe I'm blind)

anyway the low residual makes lease deals pretty unattractive IMHO -- when comparing 2006 330i at .00175 MF and 74% residual vs 2007 328i coupe at .0020 MF and 72% residual
(both residuals have the extra 3% due to 10k lease),
then the 2006 330i comes out $65/mo cheaper

this is with the same options:
metallic, sport, premium, gps, heated seats, comfort access, logic7 on the 328i (standard on the 330i), same markup over invoice

I have placed my 2006 330i ED order but am able to back out based on the E92 lease terms when they are announced -- at this point I'm sticking with the 2006 330i even though I do like the appearance of the coupe better.

Well, to each his own, but the 330 is dead, hence the better money rates, and the 328 coupe is brand spanking new which equates to a premium in money rates.

That's bad. 58% after 36 mo is low. I got 62% after 39mo for the outgoing E46....

Actually it would make more sense if the 328 coupe and 335i coupe had higher residual, but instead it is LOWER than the soon-to-be-replaced 330i.

And the 330i only has slightly lower MF -- .00175 vs .0020 -- if it were truly dead and they were using MF as a strong incentive I'd expect to see .0010 etc

BMW uses a mix of MF and residual depending on market conditions...the 330 has an unrealistically high residual and a pretty decent MF to move them...which will get lower when the 335 sedan is released.

Also, keep in mind you are comparing a sedan to a coupe...sedans traditionally have lower MF's and higher residuals than coupes.

uhmmm this thread way confusing no background on were you got these rates could be just a number a dealership was willing to negioate to...?? how many miles 10...12...15... a year I will wait until I see something more substantial and then posted in the correct forum (the dealer)

Numbers came from a dealer...MF is buy rate and my original post states the residuals are for 15K miles...how is that confusing?

Go ask your dealer and he will verify these rates if you don't believe me...plenty of people didn't believe me a year ago when I found out there was going to be a 335 sedan too... :tsk:

Wow that is very good news...just for kicks I priced a

335i w Sport pkg,Heated Seats

1k over invoice
24 month, 10k a year
Mass tax in the payment (5%), Bank Fee in the payment (625%)
7 MSDs I got a buy rate of .0015 + .0003 = .0018 (for ED)

500 down (since I get it back from BMCCA anyway)

Monthly payment is $379 (+/- a few bucks) This is a very good deal WOW:thumbup:

You are doing something wrong...payment should be in the $600 area.

I was just told my lease would be $672 per month on a 36 mo 10K p/y lease for a 47K e92.

I was only able to get 500 off MSRP, which doesn't surprise me because I'm getting the first car off the lot.

+1, your math is waaayy off.

I *wish* that were the payment.

But i priced a stripper 328 coupe with heated seats only (I like the std equipment, moonroof, adaptive xenons, etc). on a 24 month, european delivery lease with 7 multiple security deposits, 15k miles per year and the payment was $467 per month with 6% sales tax.

WIth the numbers given in the OP, I priced a 335i with steptronic, ZPP, ZSP, and PDC at $600.16.

36y/15K lease, incl. CA sales tax.

Now we'll just see if the dealership concurs with this figure.
