Ok, So I'm debating removing my Secondary Air Pump. Been having issues with it, and don't feel like wasting money on it.

I've seen a few companies online that you send your DME out to and they flash out the SAP codes, and or CAT codes.

I then came across ECUWORX and how you can tune out the SAP using their software for M3's. I've heard other people mention it will work on a non-M car, but no one has said they've done it.

Anyway, I'm curious if anyone has used ecuworx on a 325ci, or any non-M car, with success?

I'd love to be able to do it myself and learn as I go.

Thanks in advance.

Update: For anyone interested I sent them a facebook message and they said M3 only. Won’t work on a non M.
Or at least it won’t work properly and they don’t support it.

That was my goal was to learn to do it myself, but I really don’t want to brick my dme.

Are there any other programs where we can do it ourself?

Or are you saying I should give it a shot using ecuworx or is there other software on ebay I should try

Thanks. I didn’t even realize there was a coding sub forum.

I will look for that on ebay. Do you remember any specific name for it?
