My 97 5 series rear electric sunblind would not come down. I have checked fuse 45
and it is okay. I am in the process of replacing it and could use some help with the install.
Thanks in Advance.

Could it be the bending rods? Have you checked voltage to the sunblind?

Does it stay up nice even though the electricals are broken? I don't have electrical sunblinds, but I'd like to get just sunblinds. I guess I can't fit electrical ones without the slot in the back. Otherwise I'd buy some broken ones and just leave 'em up.

I had a problem with the power to mine. What fixed it was a new ignition switch believe it or not. Have you experienced any other electrical problems, ie, air bag light, radio not working, etc? It could be that.

Have you recently done anything in the backseat area behind the passenger seat? There is a power plug back there that sometimes comes loose.
