I recently parked outdoors in 0 degree weather for 2 weeks and returned to find the battery run down. The parking garage gave me a jump start, and after a couple attempts the car ran fine.

I immediately noticed some wierd electrical issues:
- Radio dies not work (although buttons are backlit when lights are on)
- Turn signals work, but turn signal indicators on dash do not flash)
- High beam lights come on, but high beam indicator on dash does not light
- Front seat heaters do not heat up or display the green temperature indicator lights

I had the fuses checked, and was told that they were fine.

Any ideas on where to go next will be appreciated

D/C battery ground cable for 5 min then reconnect it.

Best is to get a new battery, most people would recommend Duralast from Autozone (if there is a store near you):

Yes...I concur. R2 your batt. These cars do all kinds of funky things when the batt is not up to par.

Awsome advice. I disconnected the battery for 5 minutes, reconnected it... and everything works.

Thats one thing I do live about our cars. If soemthing starts to act funky....just re-boot it and 80% of the time (my time anyway), it fixes the problem.
