ElectroFan doesn't work
Hello everyone,
Sorry my english is not very well, but i'll try to explain myself.
I'm owner of an BMW E81.
I take the car to the mechanic, they changed the original electric fan and delivered it to me on Friday, but on Saturday the electric fan stopped working again. I wanted to ask for opinions about what it could be, only the electric fan was changed. Could it be that some sensor or thermostat is broken?
Any comments will be helpful.

Which fan? The engine radiator fan or the heat / air conditioning fan?

Generally, in English, a fan is the radiator rotating blade device, while the AC uses a squirrel cage blower. A fan uses Bernoulli's principle across a blade much like a wing. A blower uses centrifugal force exclusively.

Thank you very much for the reply. Now I have it much clearer. As I told you, I took the car to a specialized workshop but the truth is that they were not able to find the fault and they returned the car to me with the original fan, at the same time they returned the money I spent on the spare. Spare that did not work.
When they handed me the car, he plugged the fan into the socket and it worked but the car was off.
The fan works with both the car turned off and on.
Any opinion?

I got that issue solve.
What was done was to repair part of the electrical wires of the vehicle.
When this problem appeared, it was because the tire rubbed against the fender, pulling the left fog light out and with it a line of the electric wires and thus the radiator fan stopped working.
The wire was repaired and the fan was changed. The job cost approximately 500,000 clp or 700 usd and it took 3 days to get it ready.
