Need help again:

There were a couple times the coolant gauge tops and the engine over heat light went on, but that symptoms went away after i pulled over and restart the car.

Some day after that, a cool morning when i insert the car key and turn it to power on (not ignition), after the self test, the coolant gauge stays at a level higher than zero - it seems like there is some temperature in the coolant.

This never happened before, no matter in summer or winter.

Is there sth wrong with engine temp sensor or just the gauge's problem?

Thanks!!!:dunno:

Could be your coolant thermostat, but better make sure thats all it is, the last thing you want is your engine to overheat.
