If I'm right in thinking that the standard rear offset on the Z3 coupe is 41 (on a 8.5 wheel), then according to this calculator

http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html

they would appear to protrude 42mm extra.

On a related note, can anyone help me out by confirming the offsets on a 99 (pre facelift) 2.8 Z3 - I have the factory 7.5 fronts and 8.5 rears.

I understand that the rears are 41, but am not sure if the fronts are 38 or 41 - have been told different numbers by local BMW dealers. On the front of the wheels, it says IS41 (but not sure if this is the offset code since I thought that should read ETxx). Have checked the TIS, searched the forums, Googled, and seen both 38 and 41 cited. Anyone know for sure? Cheers ...

Both front and rear are 41. IS41 is what is saying that. EPC says it too.

On my ti 7x16 inch wheels it is IS46.

I found pics of a 2.8 with mz3 wheels, http://www.mz3.net/articles/198.html
and since the Rondell #21 have a ET 18 as opposed to the mcoupes ET 8 I thought they might fit a bit better, the outside edge of the wheel will RETRACT in towards the body by 10mm. In the pics it's kinda tough to tell exactly how far the rears protrude the rear wheel well.
Whatcha think? Still no good?
