Hi to all. Recently I bought V-gate and did some coding to my F10 2012. Now, I need your help for some details.

1. I have changed the instrument cluster light to white all the time (I don't like the red one), and now my idrive display is not working any more in automatic mode, but stays all the time in day mode. Is it possible to divide idrive display from instrument cluster, and low down the brightness on instrument cluster in night mode?

2. How to add sport plus option?

3. How to turn off the cornering light?

4. I would love to close side mirrors with locking my car, not to wait 5 seconds more for that.

5. Is it possible to run PDC for example below 20kmh, becasue I would like to run it not only when I'm in reverse?

1) Did you check the settings in the iDrive?

2) Can't with Bimmercode; don't know about Carly. I did it with ESys.

3) Probably not possible (why would you want to?).

4) Don't know if it's an option in Expert Mode (again, I used ESys), but, IIRC, I changed the wert to 00 for a zero second delay.

5) Still don't know about Bimmercode, but it is possible in ESys. There is a time/distance limit where it will automatically turn off.

Of course I did. It is in automatic mode, and since I have coded the white instrument cluster, idrive screen is also changed..

I know that it is possible, and need to be done over expert mode, but I need some guidance.

I hate yellow cornering light. It doesn't look nice.

I'm going to try to find that in expert mode, thanks!

Yes, I have it also in bimmercode for switching off, but I want to switch them on, bellow 20 km/h for example..

4 - Go back to the Bimmercode app...open up the module that controls this feature in your car and look for the prompts that allow you to adjust the timing of the mirrors folding. When you do the comfort/convenience closing...you can select a delay for the rear windows, sunroof, and mirrors because there may be times or situations where you don't want all of them to close at the same time. So the app gives you a selection to determine a delay for these features.

And if for some reason you cant find it or it doesn't offer you that option for your model year and module...you can always just press the little square button on the switch as you exit the vehicle (you donn't even have to hold the button...just one simple press & they fold). I do this when I park in my garage, I want the mirrors folded but I DON'T want the vehicle locked sine its in my garage. So I just press the little fold button as I'm getting out of the car.

5- Coding isn't required to turn on PDC "manually"...all you have to do is press the PDC button. It doesn't work when you're driving 70 MPH down the highway...but if you're going slow...like pulling into your garage or a parking space, alll you have to do is press the button on your center console and it will initiate the parking sensors even when in a forward gear. (This info is also in your owners manual). :)

If the rear camera view appears when you manually turn it on and you want the surround view...then just press your iDrive controller (like any other time) and the view will change. This is also how you TURN IT OFF if for some reason you engaged reverse and the system came on...but you are in a line (bank/drive-thru/etc) or in traffic and the sensors are picking up the car in front or behind you...just press the PDC button to turn off the alert.

Thanks for your reply. Tomorrow I will check bimmercode app for mirror folding, but last time I was looking was not there.. To be honest, I want them to fold automatically, not that I need to do it :)

For the PDC, I know for manual button, I am using it every single day, but I was just asking is there an option to turn them on automatically below 20 kmh. On my previous car (was not bmw), as soon as I slow down, and there is some sensor detection, computer was activating PDC screen. It is very useful option, and you don't need to do it manually :)

Do you know is it possible to divide courtesy lights, front from rear? I would love to turn rear off, because I'm driving baby behind, and I want to turn this light only when I actually need it, not on every single door opening.
