I have done my first coding Yesterday on my 2015 x5, yay, all went good thanks to the great information on this site. I do have a question, now my wife wants hers coded as well. both vehicles are X5's, 14 and 15. will I run into any problems with e-sys? should I clear out and save my data in the C: esysdata /caf folder?
any other suggestions before trying to do hers?

Yes, clear out Data\CAF folder as NCD's for wife's car will be read there as well. FA & SVT does not necessarily need to move if you label correctly.

 

Dear all

My friends got his X5 F15 last week and he found that there have a gong gong warning sound and warning sign for [Engine is start and door is not closed fully] on his last 520, but now he just only have warning sign.

Is it possible to code the warning sound on F15?

On the other hand, I have esys on my laptop and use F048 to install the Launcher, everytime I just click Launcher and will auto start esys program. Can I change the model on Launcher to F15 before it start esys automatically for coding my friend's X5?

 

Not sure I follow your first question, but from factory you should have warning sound if door is open.

For E-sys Launcher, yes, you can change Chassis to F015. The I001, F048, & F015 use BDC_Body (CAFD_00017BE); so depending on what you wish to code, you may not have to change chassis.

Quick question. I previously coded my F15 X5 but being that it is a perishable skill and havent done it in about a year I have forgotten some of the setting and got an error when trying to edit the FDL. I think I may have selected the wrong car series and or connection target. Can someone refresh my memory on what the correct settings are for coding a 2015 Xd 35d. Thanks.

I don't see this on any of the cheat sheets, but do see some people apparently inadvertently removing the door open warning chime/gong...

I cannot stand it - does anyone know how to remove it? I have coded off everything else, but cannot see if this is possible...

Error while trying to edit fdl
Can anyone please help with this? It shows me error no more memory avaiable C150
My laptop has 12gb ram and I tried running esys standart medium or high and no success
When I code on my f02 everything is fine then I have to wait 2 days to get to the F15 of my wife and it connects and reads it when I go to edit fdl it shows me that error

Any ideas what is going on?
