Hi all. I'm looking to buy an F15 X5 (2014). The last X5 I had was the E53 4.8is which was plagued with problems, one of which was wheel alignment. Over time the wheels got a negative camber and the last time I had them aligned the mechanic said it was at its limit and the next step would be some form of suspension rebuild. It was only on 80k miles!

My question is, has this issue been fixed on the 2014 models or does it still happen? Thanks

X5’s E53 E70 F15 have negative camber.

X5 handling and tire life are dependent on precise alignment IAW BMW instructions. Alignment alignment alignment Inflation Rotation.

Some late model BMW must be aligned with internal and external computers, so there are no published numbers. Get a different ‘mechanic‘, one properly trained.
