I just retrofitted the door handle lights to my bmw f20 and everything is working well if I connect the + wire to my battery + manually, but I cant manage to get them to light up using the FEM. I connected the wire to PIN 52 of the plug A173*9B of the FEM but if I unlock the car it does not light the door handles.
I somewhere read that no coding is necessary for this retrofit. However, I coded 563 to my VO which lead to my interior light no longer working (reasonable if you consider that it's wired differently to the FEM if a light pack is installed) but still no illuminated door handles.
Does anyone know what I did wrong?
