And I doubt it was any more than 185MPH.
Anyway as far as cars go... I took my 2nd-Gen RX-7 to top speed, which was just a little over 140MPH.
Also took Chevy truck, and Jeep Cherokee to top speed, well beyond the labels on the speedo, but I think the RX-7 was prolly faster. Just a note to parents out there... if you are really strict with curfew, expect your teenagers to speed. When I was 17, I would much rather deal with the cops than my parents.
The Jeep ('86 2.8L) was most comfortable and easy to drive at top speed, but I doubt it was much more than 100 MPH. The Chevy truck was freaking scarry, which may have been due to the huge mud tires?
