Anyone have a good technique of passing wires from the trunk compartment to the shifter console of my 2001 E38?

I would rather use existing pathways (and not have to create my own).

Pics would be nice.

No ski bag? Pretty easy if the wires are not too big.

Remove carpet panel in trunk
Remove back seat base
There are holes in the middle of the ski bag area (black wire in my pic)
Run wires along the other wires to driver's side back door sill
Run wires under door sill, B-pillar trim, front door sill
Go under the driver's seat or driver's floor mat
Come up through carpet strip on side of transmission tunnel
Pull wire to center console storage compartment (where my BassLink volume/cup holder are located)
