After one month of searching after these 18" m-spoke rim's.
I finnaly found a shop where i got the perfect deal for the rim's.

I wasn't planning to buy them @ full price @ my dealer.
The shop imported them from Germany.

I got the 4 rims + tires (good ones:) for 1215 Euro's.
So i bought them instantly. the shop also offered me
400 Euro's for my s45's ...

The car is a little bit slower, feul consuption is almost the same.
But it is a hole diferent driving expercience.
the s45's where 205/60/r15, the new are 225/40/r18.

The car looks great now! It certainly gets more attention! :)

It's my impression that there real one..
but you never know for sure..
they came in a BMW-box. They had the BMW part number printed
on the box. And it are certainly no low-qualtity rims.

Maybe the are stollen ones, don't know. But they where very cheap, perfect condition!

How do u recognize fake from real?

I know some replicas are not in smoked-chrome..but there are..

I just noticed something..
i think they are replica's!
They don't have that M-badge in near the center !

I was parked next to a real M3 and took the time to compare them.

The real M3's have the badge, and they have about 1 cm more space before the spokes.

The spokes & all the rest look identical! (Color, size, curves)

This is the only reason than i can think of why it would be replicas.

The new rims do improve the looks, without doubt!
I just like the extra attention it gets :) It's almost a full-option car... so the total look is great, (bi-xexon do the trick:)

I don't know how the situation is in the USA, but here in Belgium BMW is considered as a luxery-sports car. We don't have to drive a M3 of 330i to impress :) Thats the result of the 21% VAT the goverment asks.

The problem with my car is, that it attract cops like hell !
The topaz-blue, xexon & rims draws there attention like bee's to honey.

Anybody got an idea what 2nd hand s45's are worth?

Perfect condition..but the 2 back-tires are wasted.

You're right. All authentic M rims have the logo on them, just like the M steering wheel does. I learned this when shopping for new m68's. Many shops claim original but then when shown a picture, most were proven to be liars. Either way, they look great!

Yes, they are missing the M logo, but I am not 100% sure that this means that they are replicas because ... my dealer has a set of the same wheels, but they are 17 inch - for sale in the parts department. No M logo on them either.

Raptox - it sounds like you got a good deal too. Where did you buy them from?? Any web address? I bought my last set of wheels (Style 45 as well) from MOTORFORCE BMW in the UK. Nice guys.

My dealer wants 250€ per wheel for the 17 inchers, no tires. I am tempted but I just bricked my driveway, walkway and patio (130 m2) ... could have bought new wheels, tires, NAV and a Xenon retrofit for the same money! And BTW, I STILL have my snow tires on! Lazy sloth that I am.

Looks like I will be buying new snow tires in January.

One thing that I would recommend to you Raptox: buy WHEEL LOCKS!

Great looking wheels, my fellow diesel driver.

About 500-600€ depending on the condition. I got 500€ for mine last spring - and they look much better on my friend's E36.

There's a roundel and the letters BMW stamped into the alloy on the inside of one of the spoke.

Do you even realize what he's saying? The front wheels off of an M3 will fit any E36/E46 car. It's the 9" wide rear wheels that are of a different offset.
