I'm leaking a little oil, just nuisance drops and would like to find out where. Where would be the first spots on the engine to check. Anyone do something like tape a paper towel in places to see where its coming from?

If it is engine oil I would first look around the oil filter housing and the hoses connected to it, then I would look at the valva cover, gaskest is notorious for failing, then I would look at the oil cooler hoses, thenthe oil pan.
If it is a reddish tone, I would look first at the power steering hoses that go into the reservoir.
