Went through a near 3-hour retrofit. It's a lot more challenging to work in an E39. But it is worthy. Yes the paddles do work.

I have two X5ers who are "supposedly" to work on this retrofit. One is a local and the other based elsewhere. I would love to work with the one based locally. He emailed me for the first two days and then, puff!, disappeared for the next 10 days. The other is waiting to acquire an airbag and wheel.

Why don't you drive to LA?
