hi, I'm trying to determine the highest sequential number issued so far on CA license plates. I realize that plates are made in advance and distributed in batches to multiple DMV locations, however I assume the highest numbered plates, mailed from Sacramento, are being issued to newly registered vehicles.
So for those who have purchased new cars from dealers recently, what are the first letters of your plate number and what month in 2012 did you buy? I believe I saw 6W... something from cars purchased in May and June.
Even if not your car, what is the highest letters you've seen so far for standard issue plates that start with 6 or 7 followed by 3 letters and then 3 numbers?
Why? I'm trying to predict the letters of the plates to a car in production.
