I recently purchased a used vehicle. The dealer/previous owner used touch up paint on every small chip/scratch. In certain areas is probably looks worse than if they had done noting at all. My question is: can I use a random orbital polisher to remove most of the touch up paint? If so what would the process entail. Types of polish and pads required? Thanks, scott

no matter how thick or thin that touchup is, a random orbital with foam pads won't remove it. You are going to need to wetsand the little spots to level out the new touchup paint with the factory paint.
