For those Who installed M-Aero or M-tech...

I just had the M-Aero front end installed - got the front and kit front Pacific - Question - Was the install smooth - like 100%? My guys tell me they need to "shave" some parts down, and the fogs didn't line up right, and there were other "small" things...does this sound right? Or are they padding the price? Thanks.

I have the factory AERO, not the M or the M-teknic, and let me tell you installation is easy but if you let a shop or even dealerships do it, it's a nightmare.

First of all, you will need to trim the fog-light housing. There's a tab on top of the housing that need to be cut off to fit the new foglight opening. The black, horizontal slats will need to be cut off on the outer foglight casing as well, but all this is piece of cake.

However, you need to check and make sure they do everything right...All the expanding rivets needs to be soaked in water for 24 hours before installation, and make sure ALL the expanding rivets are used. My shop skimpped on the rivets and now I'll have to remove the bumpers and make sure the work is done right myself. The rear bumper now juts out 1/4" on each side, the clip will need to be trimmed off, and again I don't think they put in all the plastic rivets that holds the bumper cover to the bumper reinforcement.

Thanks.
