Try setting it to Werte = 00, and leaving you finger on handle ridges for a couple seconds.

 

Tried 00 to 05 without success.

On my previous cars open and closed was at the same place.
On this F06 there are different places for the 2 actions

Hi I have a j2534 I have used ISTA online but is there software u can get so u don't have to connect online for coding and scanning all BMWs. I cant afford an Autologic. I work in a small repair shop and don't see A lot BMWs. I use aftermarket Scanners LAunch, autel. Thank you MArio

You can find ISPI Next versions of both ISTA/P and ISTA/D online that run natively in Windows.

Updated my nav to NA Premium 2015-1 and on my second day of coding 2012 F10 and wanted to say special thanks to tokenmaster and shawn. ive read alottttttttttttttt of stuff and figured this out on my own and hopefully can help others some when I feel a little more experienced.

Do have 1 question can coding changes be made using the FDL editor and then later connect to the car and code FDL????

You can Read ECU, Disconnect, Edit offline with FDL-Editor, Reconnect, Code FDL.

I just bought an X5 F15 30d, XDRIV with a lot of options. I would like to change same data codes and also check and erase faulty codes.

My questions and harware and software needed to acquire.
1) To perform encoding, does I need only
- Cable OBD2 Enet
- E-sys software

2) Or should i also need ISTA / P? I understand that ISTA / P is only necessary if you want to do programming? but not necessary for coding. Does for coding the E-sys alone would be O.K?

3) Does the ICOM A module interface necessary for me with only E-sys?

4) When making coding, should i need power the car with an external charger 14 Volts?

5) How i can cancel the automatic igniton switching off after 10' or 15' ? Because I assume that this could provide serious errors in coding

Excuse me for all these questions, but I do not want to play with fire and make big nonsense.

It's real simple. For coding, you need only E-Sys, PSdZData, and an ENET Cable. Run motor during coding, and you do not need to worry about charger or car going to sleep.

You noted on this thread that one should connect via "Connection via VIN". But in public domain flashing guide it says to connect " Via Gateway URL"!

I use Connect via VIN, and I have no issues. Others report problems with Connect via VIN for ECU's like Gateway Module (ZGW), and instead use Connect via IP Address. It is six of one and a half dozen of the other. Use whatever works for you.

Just picked up my first BMW. Looking to make some adjustments, but the software seems pretty challenging to come by. Would someone mind PM'ing me a link to the correct download? I'd appreciate it.

 

You can try 54.1 PSdZData, but if car has 55.x, you are screwed as there is no working version of 55.x PSdZData due to BMW AG's Trimming of PSdZData CAFD files. Some ECU's made be codeable, while others won't be.

If you want to be able to FDL Code it, I would not have them update the car.

cafd_000009c8-006_000_030 is known to be screwed up.

You need to inject cafd_000009c8-006_000_031 into Kombi ECU, then VO Code Kombi, then you can FDL Code it afterwards,

Is it possible to enable SPEED LIMIT INFO (S8THA) when in the car is auto high beams ?
In F30.

 

Car with factory HBA could have dedicated HBA only FLA Camera instead of multifunction KAFAS Camera, in which case it would lack the required hardware for SLI.

Then, even if car has KAFAS Camera, a 7E FSC Enabling Code must be issued for car VIN by BMW AG, and I have yet to hear of anyone successful in getting one.

 

Would someone be able to help me get the software so I can do some coding on my 2012 528i?
